Along with the Bardia National Park Wildlife tour, we will also be exploring some heritage sites of Kathmandu Valley. Bardia National Park is the largest and most undisturbed protected area of the terai region of Nepal. It is the home to some of the most endangered mammals; Royal Bengal Tiger and Nepal's famous one-horned rhinoceros. Though being one of the wonders of Nepal very few tourists visit Bardia National Park due to the long distance from the capital. After finishing the sightseeing of Pashupati, Bouddha, Swayambhu and Kathmandu Durbar Square, the next day we will take an hour flight to Nepalgunj and then drive to Thakurdwara, Bardia National Park. We will take some rest then take a birdwatching tour near to the resort we will be staying in. We will go on a village tour in the evening.
The following day we will go for an elephant ride. We will also explore the jungle on foot. We can see Dolphin, and exotic bird species, one-horned rhino, other wild animals and especially if we are lucky enough then we will see the Royal Bengal Tiger. We will also visit the elephant and crocodile breeding center. Bardia contains countless deers that are the primary food source for the tiger population, one of Bardia's highlights. Even though there are fewer Royal Bengal Tigers in Bardia than in Chitwan, you're more likely to see them here. Fish is a major food source for the 250 plus bird types found in the area. The main attractions in Bardia are also the greatest residents.
If you're looking for a free trip in the wild, Bardia is the place to be. The Jungle Safari is one of the visitors ' most visited activities. Visitors can also go on a nature walk to discover Bardia's wilderness. The park is not visited by many local people. After Returning from Bardia we will visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square and then drive to Nagarkot for some refreshments. Moreover, it is a perfect package for a short vacay along with your friends and family.
